PAS has been built using industry standard technologies so that it can operate and be supported in virtually any work environment. It is a fully integrated Permit to Work System that sets new standards in ease of operation while offering world leading system integration.

PAS uses leading edge industry-standard technologies to operate continuously and reliably in the most demanding of industrial environments.

ArrowServer and Database Technology

Oracle DBMS or Microsoft SQL Server form the foundation of PAS. The database is optimised for maximum performance and to cope with the high user concurrency that occurs in large facilities.

The PAS Server operates on the Windows 2000 Server operating system, however it is capable of operating on other operating systems including Unix, Linux, and Windows NT - all advanced, robust, yet standard technologies for industry.

PAS client software operates on all current & previous versions of Microsoft operating systems.

PAS uses standard impact printing technology for isolation tags. Impact printing allows the tag and permit details to impregnate the physically-robust tags that we recommend, so they remain visible in any harsh workplace environment. Permits can be printed on a wide range of printer types.

ArrowI-Buttons

PAS uses I-Button technology to provide positive identification of users to the system. These tiny low cost devices are simple, convenient and provide excellent functionality and protection. No passwords to remember, minimal keyboard activity; and when the user withdraws the I-button, they are automatically logged off the system.
